The 10 Best Movie Villains of All Time

What is it that makes villains so appealing? Many women love bad boys, but there are characters that cross all possible boundaries and still draw the attention of millions of fans. Not only are they popular, most female fans are actually dreaming about dating these guys! These ‘bad boys’ are impossible to resist and they know it, which makes them even more dangerous and attractive. Think you can resist these super hot villains? Here are 10 sexy ‘bad boys’ that will make your knees tremble.

Jackson ‘Jack’ Rippner (Red Eye, 2005)
Cillian Murphy has no problems with playing sexy bad guys like Dr. Jonathan Crane, otherwise known as the Scarecrow from ‘Batman Begins’. Suave, charming and sophisticated, Murphy is exactly the type of guy you want sitting next to you on a long flight. That is until he reveals that you are part of his elaborate scheme to assassinate a government official. Despite this minor flaw, Jackson would be an ideal date: he dresses well, he’s got a winning smile, and he’s probably ripped from all that terrorizing he’s been up to.

John Harrison / Khan (Star Trek Into Darkness, 2013)
If you aren’t a Trekkie, all you need to know is that this genetically modified super hunk looks just like Benedict Cumberbatch, and that should be enough. If you want more than that, you should also know that he’s super smart, dashing, and really cares for his family. If that’s not an ideal villain, then we don’t know who is! Please mind that he’s quite a murderous man, so don’t expect your date to go without at least some action.

Eric Coulter (Divergent, 2014)
If your type is the loud, super competitive hunky guy, then you’ll want to know this character a little bit closer. Eric is not only good-looking, he’s also ready to do anything to get on top when society is overthrown. This isn’t your polite gentle type of guy who treats you right – Eric will throw you into the abyss if you don’t live up to his standards. But hey, look at all those muscles! No one this pretty can be that bad, right?

Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, 2014)
He’s got amazing locks, brooding mysterious eyes, and an arm that can get those stubborn pickle jars open in a second. Don’t let his age fool you either, as this man looks younger than most of those cute hipsters wearing beanies. Everyone has a few skeletons in their closet, though, and Bucky is no exception. He was thrown from a train to his apparent doom and was later revived and brainwashed by the fascist Hydra to find and kill his best friend. But if you can look past those flaws, the Winter Soldier will keep you warm during the lonely cold nights.

Billy Loomis (Scream, 1996)
We all have that friend who is a little too good with his horror movie trivia, but what if he’s also super hot? Let’s also imagine that he’s playful, fun at parties, and a great dresser. You’ve got yourself the whole package with Billy! But you also have to be ready for a good jog and a thrilling game of hide-and-seek, because if you’ve broken any of the horror movie rules, then he’s gonna come for you!

Staff Sgt. Colin Sullivan (The Departed, 2006)
If you want someone who’s dedicated to his job and not afraid to do what it takes to get to the top, then look no further. Jaw-droopingly handsome and incredibly charming, Colin has a lot to offer in the dating department. The only problem is that he’s not always trustworthy. He might not cheat on you, but don’t be surprised if one day you get caught in a deadly shootout because Colin betrayed you and everyone he’s ever known.

David McCall (Fever, 2004)
Maybe you’re looking for something a little more serious than casual dates and one-night stands. Well, David is the right man for you! He’s handsome, polite and affectionate, although, maybe a little too affectionate. If you don’t mind your family being terrorized and your dog being killed, then David isn’t such a bad guy. He’ll follow you everywhere and push your friends away, but that’s just a way of showing you he loves you!

Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto (X Men: First Class, 2011)
Okay, maybe the older Magneto has too many wrinkles, as well as a homicidal hatred for all the humans. But why not go back in time to meet the younger, hotter and less murderous Magneto? He’s ripped, gorgeous and he’s got eyes so deep that it’s impossible not to drown in them. Michael Fassbender’s portrayal of the X-Men villain brought us to the movie theaters for more than just super-powered action. He added that sex appeal that was missing from his older version.

Loki (Thor, 2011)
If you’re into the dating scene, you can’t do much better than a character based on an all-powerful Norse god. Forget for a second that he’s a god of lies and mischief, and you might find yourself having a real good time with Loki. He has an amazing fashion sense and an all-consuming hatred for his arguably hotter older brother. But if you can look past a little emotional baggage and some family issues, he might be just the right trickster god for you!

Patrick Bateman (American Psycho, 2000)
Ladies, you could do a lot worse than a successful Wall Street broker who looks almost exactly like Christian Bale! Patrick Bateman takes obsessive care of his appearance, he’s good with money, and may or may not be completely insane. But there’s a special charm to him that makes women fall for him instantly.
