What If Disney Characters Were in the Game of Thrones?

Game of Thrones has become immensely popular after HBO picked it up. Not that it wasn’t popular before that, but it wasn’t really hitting the mainstream audience. Today it’s freaking everywhere, and we love it! From the fascinating history of Westeros, dragons, and the White Walkers, all the way to subtle yet game-changing conspiracies.

On the other hand, we have Disney, which would never allow their characters to do any of the taboo things that the Game of Thrones guys might do. So this clever guy decided to combine the best of both worlds!

Here’s how the Disney characters would look like if they were in Game of Thrones.

1. Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) as Cersei Lannister
The scheming, incestuous Cersei Lannister we all hate looks a lot like Aurora the only Disney Princess with Cersei’s iconic long, golden locks.

2. Elsa as Daenerys Targaryen
One’s really into fire, and the other one’s as cold as ice, which makes this a perfect combo in my mind! They’re also both queens, so there’s that.

3. Rapunzel as Sansa Stark
Rapunzel lives most of her life locked up, so who would be the best fit for her in the GoT? Of course it’s Sansa. This whiny Stark knows a thing or two about being locked in a tower.

4. Belle as Margaery Tyrell
It’s all about the roses in this one. Both Belle and Margaery have a thing for this particular flower.

5. Snow White as Shae
Can you guess why the author picked Snow White to represent Shae? They both really seem to like the company of dwarves!

6. Grandma Fa as Olenna Tyrell
Who’d make a better Olenna Tyrell, the Queen of Thorns, than the kindred-spirited Grandma Fa from Mulan?

7. Cinderella as Catelyn Stark
With this pairing it’s all about the weddings. One of them gets lucky and marries a prince, and the other one gets her throat slit.

8. Jasmine as Ellaria Sand
Jasmine as Ellaria Sand the lady of Dorne makes perfect sense! The oriental/Arabic kingdom in the south of Westeros looks exactly like Agrabah in the Aladdin cartoon. Also it’s literally in her name – Sand.

9. Mulan as Brienne of Tarth
Do you even need an explanation for this one? They’re both badass fighters, that’s pretty much it.

10. Lilo as Arya Stark
Not that many young ladies in the Game of Thrones, and not that many Disney characters of roughly the same age. That’s how Lilo Stark came to be!

11. Ariel as Melisandre
One’s a sick old witch, and the other one’s a freaking mermaid, but judging from the internet searches, people wouldn’t mind tapping either of them. It’s all about the redheads, dudes!

12. Merida as Ygritte
And speaking of redheads, both Merida and Ygritte are instantly recognizable for their blazing red floods, not to mention their mad archery skills.
