Early Days
Alisha was born on January 21, 1999, in Switzerland. We don’t know much about her closest family as she keeps that on the down low, but she has at least two siblings: a sister named Shawna and a mysterious brother. Alisha fell in love with football when she was five after being inspired by her brother and cousins. Her parents weren’t too sold on the idea of a girl playing football at first, but their attitude changed when she started playing for the “Young Boys” team.
Football Career
In 2016, Lehmann kicked off her pro career with “Young Boys” back in Switzerland. In 2017, she debuted for the main Swiss national team at the age of 18 and has since played in 47 games, scoring a whopping 19 goals.
Fast forward to 2018, she put two in the net at the World Youth Championship, catching the attention of West Ham’s manager. Shortly after, in August of the same year, she signed a contract with them and officially joined the Women’s Super League. Alisha Lehmann’s time at West Ham, during which she scored eight goals and ensured the FC got a spot at the tournament final, was the biggest highlight of her career.
In 2021, Lehmann joined Everton FC, where she played eight games but unfortunately scored just a single goal. In the summer of 2021, Alisha signed a new contract, this time with the legendary Aston Villa. During the 2021/22 season, she participated in 21 games, scoring two goals and providing two assists

Alright, now for the good stuff – Alisha’s personal life. She’s not just making headlines with her skills; she’s proudly living her truth. Alisha, the open book she is, identifies as a bisexual and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ family. She was originally riding the relationship wave with her national teammate, Ramona Bachmann. Plot twist – she’s been spotted more and more with the Brazilian maestro, Douglas Luiz, from Aston Villa’s men’s team. The lovebirds made it official at the end of 2021.
