The second teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has finally been released. Yes, we live in a world where teaser trailers have become a thing. The newest trailer has received mixed reactions, most of which were: “Oh my God, this is amazing!”
The fans couldn’t be more excited since this time we see more footage of storm-troopers and mysterious people who lead the Empire which has been re-named as the First Order, the siths and Han ‘I Know’ Solo. But let’s dig into the things that you probably missed judging by all the nerd-tears all over your face. Bear in mind, even though all of these mentions are mere speculations, you might find some potential spoilers.
At the opening shot of a teaser we see The X-Wing and Star Destroyer. The premise might seem as Tatooine, but in reality, it’s Jakku which has been confirmed by Star Wars Celebration Conference. Yes, there are other desert planets in the galaxy.
We see the melted helmet of Darth Vader that probably belongs to some scavengers. With Mark Hamill narrating, we know that the Force is strong in his family and his father “HAS” it. And before you celebrate a Darth Vader rebirth, you should know that this phrase has been taken from ” Return of a Jedi” for a dramatic effect. We see Luke’s hand that look a lot more mechanical than the one he got in “Empire Strikes Back” which may imply that he’s been in exile and couldn’t maintain it in proper condition.
Fans get a better look at Kylo Ren, one of the main villains in the movie. Hi s mask reminds of Darth Vader’s, especially if you take a look at the leaked concept art. The new storm-troopers look sleek. If you look closely at their turn-around shot, you won’t see the Empire’s symbol on the red flag. It slightly resembles the sign of the Black Sun Syndicate which is the criminal organization in SW universe . But the real news is the ultimate chrome trooper. We honestly can’t decide who is more bad ass: Kylo with a cross-sword or the chrome trooper.
