Unfortunately, some actors are doomed to stay famous for that one movie they did 10 years ago. But on the other hand, at least they’re still famous! Besides, we like them for a reason. It’s like saying that Superman is only famous for saving the world multiple times. It’s not a small feat! Would he like to be known for being a supreme chef? Maybe, but saving the world is amazing too.
Take Tom Hiddleston for example. He’ll always be Loki for 99% of people. And Rene Zellweger will forever Bridget Jones. Let’s see who else has made the list!
Renee Zellweger – Bridget Jones
I’m sure she’s done other roles in other movies, but we’ll always see her as that awkward Bridget Jones. Even new Netflix series What If can’t change it!
Rupert Grint – Ron Weasley
I seriously doubt that Rupert will ever get as big of a role as Ron Weasley in Harry Potter. But that doesn’t mean he should stop trying.
Viggo Mortensen – Aragorn
He was in his prime, and Peter Jackson’s “Lord of the Ring” trilogy was a smash hit, so it’s only natural that Viggo will be associated with Aragorn.
Chris Tucker – Ruby Rhod
The most annoying roles are usually the most memorable. And Ruby Rhod in the Fifth Element is easily in the top 5 of the world’s most annoying movie characters.
Jennifer Aniston – Rachel Green
Speaking of annoying characters, Rachel is probably in my personal top 3. If it wasn’t for the fact that the show had other characters, I wouldn’t watch it. Great actress pigeonholed in a crappy role.
Jim Parsons – Sheldon Cooper
After so many seasons of the Big Bang Theory, it’s only natural that Jim will live in our hearts as Sheldon. No bazinga here!
Robert Downey Jr. – Iron Man
From a junkie to the world’s most bankable actor in under 15 years! That’s impressive. Robert wasn’t playing Tony Stark, he lived that character, which is why we’ll be seeing his face in our mind for a long time.
Adrian Paul – Duncan MacLeod/ Christopher Lambert – Connor MacLeod
If any of you remember the Highlander series, you either think of Adrian Paul or Christopher Lambert. But since there can be only one – I’m choosing Lambert!
Tom Hiddleston – Loki
One of the best British actors out there, Tom is not only doing movies but also theater. And yet he will be forever known as Loki from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
