Everybody knows, that Disney princesses are literally the icons of the Disney world. And not just as characters but also as individual personalities. Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine, Mulan, Cinderella, Tiana, Rapunzel, Elza, Aurora, Merida, Belle, Pocahontas are our childhood embodiment of beauty, modesty, elegance and might.
We all are familiar of what behavior each of them exhibits and how each one looks. For years and years Disney princesses inspired different cosplayers, toymakers, alternative photographers and artists, that reimagined them in various ways: from appealing pin-up models, daring villains, princesses wearing hijab, real-life characters, hipsters, to badass girls, and even as men, or wearing beards or those having realistic waistlines!
The alternative variants are getting crazier and crazier, and, we’d say many of them are not actually as successful as expected them to be (princesses as Minions. Really?). But most of the artistic endeavors are totally on track, and they may absolutely help us take a look at famous Disney beauties from a totally different angle.
Today we will demonstrate to you one more new way of reimagining our favorite girls. Sometimes, when we see another gallery of alternative Disney princesses, we think to ourselves “not this again!”. But we promise, this time you won’t get bored.
