Children grow up so fast. Especially when you only see them once in a couple of years on a big movie screen. Remember the adorable Lucy from Narnia? She is already 24, and has grown into a beautiful swan!
Thirteen years have passed since the release of “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.” Ever since then, many exciting events happened in Georgie’s life, and sadly, not all of them were as magical as in her adventures in Narnia.
She was a real tomboy in her early years, and her parents tried to channel this chaotic energy into something more peaceful, like acting! After a few semi-successful photo shoots and commercials, she scored a big one. When the casting for Narnia was announced, Georgie was eight years old, just like her character, Lucy. In other words, the stars have aligned! This might have given her the edge over other girls.
After the franchise, and all the young actors blew up, the world finally had someone new to follow. But what about Georgie? What do you think she did with all that fame? For starters, returning from Narnia to the real world was rough. Everything seemed bleak and dreary. The following year, Georgie was invited to star in a television project, but the role was small and hardly memorable.
When the third film about Narnia was released in 2010, Georgie was all but forgotten. In the next five years, she starred in two small projects that went nowhere, but in 2015, she returned, but this time as a director of a short film. Sadly, it didn’t pan out either, and Georgie immediately gave up and disappeared again for two years. Her latest project, the Spanish Princess, was released in 2019, but it was no Narnia. Still fun, though!
Thankfully, she doesn’t seem to care about big projects and enjoys playing in whatever she likes. Aside from the movie business, Georgie tried herself as a writer and even strolled the catwalk of Milan Fashion Week as a model at the Alberta Ferretti fashion show.
Georgie is a full-fledged woman now and she looks fabulous. Thousands of people follow her on social media like Twitter and Instagram and she loves talking to them. You should also give her a follow and keep your eyes open for new announcements about her future roles!
