If you’re into anime, you may have asked yourself this question a few times: how good is my favorite anime, really? Seriously, how would you know if “Death Note” is (or isn’t) better than Dragon Ball Z? All you have to do is post the list of your favorite anime, and let random people vote! What I’m trying to say here is that these lists are a total bull-crap fest, so don’t go ballistic when you see that “One Piece” is #8. Seriously, wake up! One Piece is the best anime ever made!

10. Bleach
Bleach is a solid top 10 choice. Great setting, supernatural powers, sentient swords… what’s not to like? And the story by Kite Kubo is pretty darn awesome! Bleach gets a rating of 8.3/10 with 29,943 votes.
9. Naruto: Shippuden
The seemingly never-ending Naruto: Shippuden series has come to an end. And then its creator started the conveyor belt once again with Boruto (Naruto’s son). You know what it’s about, even if you’ve never watched a single episode: ninjas, jujitsu, friendship, betrayal… and filler episodes. This mediocre (in my opinion) show is somehow at 8.6/10 on IMDb.
8. One Piece
There we go! There’s my boi Monkey D. Luffy and his cranky crew of pirates! Did I mention that every human being on this planet should watch this masterpiece? I did? Well, at 8.8/10 stars on IMDb you know I’m not lying! Get on it, fools!
7. Dragon Ball Z
Not even a little bit surprised to see the good old DBZ on this list. This one’s definitely a classic and a must-watch. It’s a total 90’s nostalgia trip with 8.8/10 stars.
6. Attack on Titan
A fairly recent hit on the list, and it’s already at #6? Well done! It’s got blood-thirsty giants, gorgeous animation, and masterful plot twists, along with remarkable character development. Attack on Titan is sitting on 8.9/10 with 55,351 votes.
5. Hunter X Hunter
Another one of my favorites! Hunter x Hunter is a great combination of a well-thought-out fictional world, amazing action, and thought-provoking subjects. At 9.0/10 stars HxH takes the 5th place!
4. Death Note
You may have heard about this one already. I mean, it’s only one of the most popular anime of all time, no big deal. It’s about a notebook that kills anyone whose name’s written in it. There’s more to that, of course, but that’s the main premise. In fact, Death Note was the best anime for 2006, and it achieved an average rating of 9.0/10 stars on IMDb.
3. Full-metal Alchemist Brotherhood
The setting, the drama, the action – it’s all absolutely amazing! FMA is about 2 brothers searching for a Philosopher’s Stone, after a failed attempt to revive their dead mother. Look, describing anime with 1 simple sentence is near impossible, so you better just go watch it. With the rating of 9.1/10 Full-metal Alchemist Brotherhood gets the 3rd place.
2. Avatar: The Last Airbender
Wait, what? But, Avatar is not technically anime… Oh well, it’s still a great show! Avatar: The Last Airbender is the second highest anime with IMDb rating of 9.2/10. So who do you think is #1?
1. One-Punch Man
It’s only logical that ONE Punch Man in number ONE, right? Don’t get me wrong, I love Saitama, and I love how the show deconstructs the super hero genre, but it should not be the highest rated anime on IMDb. But either way, we have what we have, OPM sits at number 1 with 9.4/10 stars.
