The term “Disneyfication” is quite recent. It’s only been around for a decade, maybe less, and yet the Internet loves it! The idea is to take a certain “thing”, like movie characters, people, or in our case, animals, and draw them in that distinctive Disney style. Well, the term also has a different, more corporate meaning, but no one’s using that one anymore.
The Dutch artist, Isa Bredt, has managed to reinforce the positive side of Disney. She specializes in drawing cutesy animals using that classic animation style you can immediately recognize.
Here’s Isa and her lovely creations:
It may have started as a couple of drawings “for fun,” but since then, her Instagram turned into somewhat of a message board.
This kitty may have a droopy ear but he’s still adorable.
Count Meowcula at your service!
Lil’ baby possum is too cute for this world.
You can find all sorts of pets there, and many of them may still be up for adoption!
Two-faced cats are the best conversation pieces… and cuddle monsters, of course.
A significant number of Isa’s models are four-legged, fluffy rascals from animal shelters. Some of them were tossed aside by cruel people, others need constant medical attention, but all of them want to be loved.
Kitty, can you hear us? You’re a star!
This small puppy doesn’t need his eyes to love you!
Hopefully, after being Disneyfied by Isa, most of them will eventually find their forever home, but for now, we can only ask you to follow Isa on Instagram and slap some hearts on the photos!
Let us show you some of Isa’s cutest Disneyfications!
How is it possible that these “imperfections” only make me want to squee louder?
Grumpy, you old so and so, you had a brother?
D’aww, it’s like he came out of a cartoon with that dopey snoot
Adopt, don’t stop!
