Plastic surgery is often considered the easy way out for people that want to look different. There is ofcourse no real other way to change your appearance in a meaningful way, so I guess the easy way out is the only way out in this context. One could argue that beauty is on the inside and/or in the eyes of the beholder, but that’s neither here nor there. People are always going to decide to get plastic surgery done, even celebrities.
But not all surgery ends well. These celebrities got some work done and have regretted it ever since.
Cher
Well, it’s not really going to be a mystery why Cher regrets having plastic surgery, is it? Cher went a bit overboard with the surgery, and has recently looked more like Boris Karloff’s Mummy rather than older Cher.
Tara Reid
Tara Reid, as we probably all remember, got breast implants before Hollywood considered plastic surgery to be cool. She doesn’t regret getting the implants themselves, but she does regret that post-surgery her belly wasn’t flat anymore and looked rippled.
Mickey Rourke
Mickey is probably one of the most vocal celebrities when it comes to regretting his plastic surgery. He wanted to get some work done on his face and is often quoted saying that he went to “the wrong guy”.
Kourtney Kardashian
Being one of the Kardashians that least looks like she’s made of plastic is already noteworthy, but the little surgery that Kourtney did get done, she’d rather take back. She got breast implants and has since learnt to accept the way her breasts were before the surgery and is thinking of getting rid of the implants in the future.
Victoria Beckham
You’d think Posh Spice doesn’t need surgery to look good, but apparently she did. She didn’t like the result much but she can’t change anything now.
Courteney Cox
The whole world was pretty much in shock when Courtney Cox suddenly appeared in the media, clearly having had work done to her face. She got fillers to make her look younger, but she ended up mostly looking weirder.
Renée Zellweger
Renée Zellweger is now accepted that fillers aren’t for her. We could’ve told her that years ago, since there’s no beauty standard by which Renée needs fillers.
Joan Rivers
Once one of Hollywood’s biggest stunners, it seems like Joan and Cher have been locked in a decade-old battle of trying to look the most like a risen undead. There’s almost nothing natural about Joan’s appearance at this point, and it only makes sense that she’d regret some of the work she had done.
