Mondays suck, don’t they? I mean, they’re not particularly worse than any other work day, but the fact that it’s the first day that reminds you that another weekend has passed makes it particularly salty.
Let’s take a look at some things you can do on a Monday that might make it suck less. It probably won’t. But it might.
Greet Everyone
I know, you’re not *really* happy to see them, but it never hurts to pretend.
Have a Healthy Breakfast
Coffee and a smoke isn’t a proper breakfast, contrary to what you might think. Have some grains or fruit or something.
Remember That Tuesday Is Still a Thing
Don’t stress too much, the week is only just getting started. Plenty of time left to finish those projects you were supposed to.
Arrive Early
It gives you more time to ease into your work rhythm so you don’t lose too much time staring at the ceiling and wondering why you even bothered to show up today.
Do Something Fun In The Evening
Nothing lightens up a Monday like having a pint at the local pub in the evening. You may not need alcohol to get over a bad Monday, but it’ll sure help.
Work Out
Working out might be the last thing you want to do on a Monday morning, but it’s actually very good for you. It gets the blood flowing and the adrenaline pumping.
Try Not To Complain
I know, you hate seeing all these people again, you dread opening up your mailbox, but try not to complain about it. Everyone else hates you and their mailbox too. We’re all in the same boat here.
