Beyonce
The megastar was the victim of a crime that resulted in over $1 million in lost items. Thieves found a way into Beyonce’s storage unit, which was being rented by her production company Parkwood Entertainment. The storage units were located in Los Angeles, and the thieves made it out with more than a million dollars worth of luxury clothes and handbags.
Kim Kardashian
Yunice Abbas robbed Kim Kardashian in 2016 while she was staying in a hotel in Paris — and then wrote a book about it. Abbas released “I Sequestered Kim Kardashian,” a tell-all about robbing the star. The thief discusses how she stole her jewelry and phone, and then was totally astonished when Tracy Chapman called her phone. She also jokingly jabbed at Kim Kardashian for being robbed in France, but calling the US emergency 911 line. No joking matter was the fact that the robbers held Kardashian at gun point. They apparently made off with $11 million in stolen goods, including her $4 million diamond ring.
Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes
These two were actually at home when thieves broke into their residence through a window. Once they realized that the two were at home, they fled the scene. But they escaped with one tiny prized possession: Shawn Mendes’ Mercedes SUV.
Conan O’Brien
The late night star and his crew had just moved production of the Conan show to the Coronet Theater in West Hollywood. They switched studios to help the theater earn revenue, which was hit really hard during the coronavirus pandemic. His production was then robbed. The thieves made out with several items including laptops and even a clapperboard.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi
When burglars robbed Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, they broke into their Montecito estate. The 8,1888 square foot home is worth approximately $27 million. It is not known if the couple was at home at the time of the break in, but the burglars stole items like watches and other pieces of jewelry.
Paris Hilton
The celebutante was robbed an alarming five times between October and December of 2008. How thieves were able to rob her so many times is inconceivable, but one time was a pretty easy heist. They used the key under the mat and walked right in. They took her underwear, alcohol, designer dresses, cash money, and almost $2 million worth of jewelry.
Lindsay Lohan
The Bling Ring was the group that perpetrated Lindsay Lohan in 2009. She was victimized in California by the group, who apparently robbed a series of celebrities homes over the course of a year. The bandits made it off from her Hollywood Hills house with over $130,000 worth of clothing and jewelry.
Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox
While he was shooting a moving back in 2009 in New York City, bandits broke into Brian Austin Green’s house. They were able to lift some of Megan Fox’s possessions including clothes, as well as Green’s Sig Sauer 380 semi-automatic handgun.
