What would you do if you found out that your cat’s recently hurt paw got infected? Call an Uber and get his furry butt to the ER in the nearest vet clinic? Or google “what voodoo powder to use to stop the fungal infection from spreading”? The choice is obvious, but not for Tammapa, apparently.
Tammapa Supamas, a resident of Thailand, found signs of fungal infection on her cat and decided to cure it using a natural remedy she found on the Internet. By the way, don’t try this at home, please. You should always consult with a vet specialist in cases like this.
So Supamas found a recipe that claimed turmeric was the go-to herb, as it is said to relieve inflammation and kills the nasty fungus.
She applied the medicine to the affected area; however, this did not seem enough to her. So in her attempt to beat the infection, she sprinkled the whole cat with this magic powder. Because logic.
Later, when Supamas tried to wash the spice off of the cat’s fur, she immediately started regretting her decision. The turmeric would not wash off, but instead, the feline’s fur turned bright yellow. I looked sort of like a Pokemon if you squint your eyes.
The good news is, according to the cat-mom, she did manage to cure the infection thanks to that natural remedy, and the premium Pikachu skin was only temporary. This time everything worked out!
