Do you feel guilty for the amount of time you spend playing games? You probably could use your time more productively, but then again, we’re on this planet to have a good time, not to be productivity machines. You have to know how to relax. If you’re relaxation method of choice is playing games, you might have more in common with these 11 celebrities than you think!

Vin Diesel
I would guess that the star of the Fast and Furious franchise would be a fan of racing games, but in fact, he prefers World of Warcraft and Call of Duty. He’s probably really good at it too. There’s no “I” in team, but there’s two I’s in Vin Diesel, so he’s a one man army all by himself. When Vin was staring in the Riddick movie franchise, he launched his own game development company called Tygon Studios which created two Riddick games.

Snoop Dogg
I actually didn’t know that Snoop Dogg had a thing for gaming, but it makes total sense. The songs of Snoop has been featured in a few games (from EA’s NBA Live 2003 on to Need For Speed Underground 2, on to even Call of Duty). In fact, Snoops infatuation with the Call of Duty video game franchise has earned him the privilege of providing a voice over for one of the games DLCs!

Henry Cavill
Before Henry became the face of Superman, he was actually killing a lot of time playing World of Warcraft. In fact, in an interview with Conan he told the story of how he very nearly missed the call to play Superman! He was playing World of Warcraft, and his number one priority at the time of the call was to successfully finish a raid with his MMORPG buddies. I mean, I like playing games too, but I wouldn’t let a call from a major film studio go to voicemail because I’m too busy kicking butt in Azeroth.

Megan Fox
Megan caused quite a stir within the gaming community when she confessed that she’s a pretty avid gamer. During her press junket tour for The Dictator she told the press that she spends quite a lot of time playing games, and since then it’s been brought up in every single interview. She can honestly kick some serious butt in Mortal Combat, and if your gaming platform of choice is the xBox, then there’s quite a high chance that the butt-whooping you’ve been receiving might have been coming from her.

Olivia Munn
Before her acting in movies like X-Men, Olivia Munn was the host of a show that talked quite a bit about gaming – Attack of the Show. In her rapid-fire question interview for Vogue she claims that the best console ever made is the Microsoft Xbox and that the best game ever made is Halo.

Rosario Dawson
Rosario Dawson, known for her roles in Daredevil and Luke Cage, is also a prominent producer, comic book writer, and gamer! She’s provided voiceovers for two video games (Syndicate as well as Ratchet and Clank), and has spoken about her love for classic Nintendo games. Her favorites are the Super Mario franchise, Zelda, and Pokemon!

Jack Black
This one is a no-brainer. I don’t think there’s anyone who knows of Jack Black who would be surprised that this cuddly, lovable teddy bear of a human is not only a music nerd but also a game nerd! Jack Black grew up during the golden age of arcade games, and according to him – he absolutely owned everyone at playing Space Invader. His acting and musical career as the lead singer of Tenacious D landed him a voiceover role in the under appreciated game Brutal Legend, where he voiced the main character.

Terry Crews
One day I’ll write a whole article about the way that Terry Crews should be every man’s idol and inspiration. His honesty and attitude towards life and social issues is commendable, and he’s a prime example of the fact that being vulnerable and genuine in no way infringes on what it means to be #Masculine. But for now, let’s talk about how he has a genuine love for video games. First of all, he’s a fan of the Battlefield and Overwatch game series. More so, when Blizzard announced the addition of a new character to the Overwatch universe, Doomfist, Terry launched a campaign to be the voice over actor for the character. He didn’t get the part, but his enthusiasm was brilliant.

Will Wheaton
Everyone knows about Will Wheaton’s love of board games. He has his own show, TableTop, in which he plays board games with other, equally game-loving celebrities. However, as gaming is approaching its golden age, Will discovered that face-to-face contact is not necessary for a positive gaming experience. Will has since shared that he loves narrative driven video games, with rich stories and complex characters. His favorites include the Mass Effect series as well as God of War.

Matthew Perry
Chandler was so good and spent so much time playing Ms. Pac-Man that his hand got stuck. In real life, Matthew Perry spent so much time playing Fallout 3 that he, reportedly, got carpal tunnel syndrome. But his sacrifice didn’t go unnoticed, and the creators of the post apocalyptic franchise invited Matthew Perry to voice one of the characters in the game’s next installment – Fallout New Vegas. I doubt that did anything to help Perry’s hands, but I’m sure it still made him feel much better.

Mila Kunis
Like Henry Cavill, Mila Kunis also spent a good chunk of her free time between roles exploring Azeroth and kicking the unlucky butts of WoW players around the world. She said that her obsession with the game was borderline addiction, and that it’s very likely that sometime soon she might return to the MMORPG.
