The Most Expensive Bottles of Water on the Planet

Yes, you read that right – bottles of water can be expensive too. We’ve grown used to turning on the kitchen tap and having water pour out like it’s something that’ll be here forever, but many countries still deal with a shortage of drinkable water. Let’s take a look at some really ridiculously expensive water bottles. Because it’s just water, dang it!

Finé – $5 for 750 ml
Well – this is fine. It’s expensive, but it’s only five bucks. There’s worse crimes out there than this. Technically there’ll be 9 worse crimes in this article alone.

Tasmanian Rain – $5 for 750 ml
Again – that’s fine. As the name implies, this is water from the island of Tasmania. This is literally rain water, #nofilter.

Lauquen Artes Mineral Water – $6 for 750 ml
Getting more expensive here. His water is from a mountain fed aquifer located near San Carlos Bariloche. Let’s pretend for a second we know where that is (hint: it’s in Argentina).

Aquadeco – $12 per 750 ml
Now we’re getting there. The main reason why this water is so expensive is the bottle. It’s just water from an “unspoiled” spring in Canada.

10 Thousand BC – $14 per 750 ml
Let’s take a moment to realize that you can get a proper bottle of wine for this price. This is also Canadian water.

Veen – $23 per 750 ml
This water is from Finland, and it’s considered one of the purest and freshest of the world. I guess that’s not too much to ask at this price, right?

Bling H20 – $40 per 750 ml
It’s called “bling”, what did you expect? Apart from the 9-step purification process, most of the price probably comes from the bottle design.

Fillico Jewelry Water – $219 per 750 ml
Dang this water must be good. While the water is pretty exclusive – hailing from a Japanese spring in Kobe – it’s pretty safe to assume most of the price is determined by the Swarovski crystals on the bottle.

Kona Nigari Water – $402 per 750 ml
This is water that is said to help you lose weight. Prize question: find me one brand of water that can actually make you fat. Just one. This is the kind of crap they pull on people to ask over 400 bucks for a bottle of water. Don’t believe the hype, kids.

Acqua di Cristallo Tributo a Modigliani – $60,000 per 750 ml
If you have 60 grand to spend on a bottle of water, I doubt I have anything to tell you that you don’t already know. Most of the 60 grand is probably spent on the 24 karat gold bottle rather than the water – which hails from mount Fiji and France. I know, it’s a weird combination.
